Am I charging too low?
I am afraid I am. I'm Planning to change chargings for my commissions (but keeping the same services) but I'm having hard times in deciding what to do...

Hi, guys! Hope you're doing good! :)

So, yep, as I said above, I need your help to make some good prices, good for both me and clients... but I don't have any ideas about how much I should raise them up...
I've been told (more than once) that those are too low (that I'm "starving"), but nobody actually ever cared to lend me a hand on that. I'd like to be as competitive as other people, because if we keep going down with prices then we'd be too exploited and none of us would get out any good from it.

How much would you be willing to pay for a drawing? Or, better question, as an experienced artist, how much would you value your drawings, money speaking?

These are my charges (you can find here x):

Sketchy Colored Doodle:

  • Portraits!
  1. Portrait of two characters and a forniture (from head to chest/legs):
    from 10 to 20€  / 13 to 25 $ (starting price)

  2. Portrait of characters in a messy background (blurrish):
    from 20€ to 30€  / 25 to 40$ (starting price)

Concept Artworks:

  • Classic Full Body drawing (colored):
    from 20 to 30€/ 27 to 41$ *added character + 15€/ 20$*

Illustration kind of art:

  • Single full body character in detailed background:from 40 to 50€/ 54 to 70$ *added character charges higher*

Do you think I'm charging too low, too? Which option is the unfair one? All of them?

If you can, drop an USEFUL comment (please).
Thank you for your help and have a nice day! :D

WAAAAY too low, your art is absolutely incredible and I imagine it takes a lot of time to make work with such detail. I think you should definitely raise your prices.

A good way to figure out how much you should charge is to consider how long it takes you to make a certain type of art and then figure out how much you're being paid per hour, if it takes you 11 hours to finish a $70 piece that's only like $6 per hour which is very very low.
